Together Tied Homes was founded in 2024 by Jamesia England, driven by her dedication to providing compassionate care for seniors in a home-like environment. Her journey began in high school while caring for her late grandmother, Ollie Mae Hadnot, who was diagnosed with dementia and later suffered a stroke. As her grandmother’s health declined, requiring hospice care at home until her final moments, Jamesia developed a deep sense of purpose in serving seniors.
Inspired by her experience, Jamesia earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, where she discovered her passion for working with seniors in nursing home facilities. Her nursing journey began in 2016 when she became a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). She later advanced her career by completing her Registered Nurse (RN) program in 2021, demonstrating her commitment to expanding her knowledge and skills.
Throughout her career, Jamesia has served diverse populations in healthcare, including nursing homes, home health, assisted living, correctional care, detox care, and as a med-surg nurse in hospital settings. Caregiving has always been her passion, and she aspires to make quality care accessible to everyone in the community at an affordable rate. She firmly believes that every individual, regardless of income, deserves the opportunity to age in place with dignity and quality care.
The vision for Together Tied Homes was inspired by Jamesia’s late grandmother, Phyllis England, who dreamed of creating a family business that served veterans and seniors. As a minister, Phyllis instilled a strong belief in community service and helping others despite their circumstances. Although Phyllis passed away in December 2022, the seed she planted grew into Jamesia’s mission to establish a personal care home for seniors.
Together Tied Homes was founded with a commitment to serving seniors in the community who face challenges such as unstable housing, disabilities, mental health struggles, and chronic medical conditions. The goal is to provide a safe, nurturing home where seniors can age in place while receiving exceptional care.
